Now here's one you don't see every day. Lisa Behan from Virginia got this done at the Killybegs tattoo convention. Inner lip tattoos are becoming more popular in modern times, if not as well known. Surely not the first place you think of when getting a tattoo. So why on her lip? "It's more of a spur of the moment thing that anything else" she laughs. "I'm here in Killybegs, a major fishing port and everywhere smells like fish, so why not an anchor! And on my inner lip? Well again spur of the moment, my normal tattooist has one on his lip and I always thought it looked really cool. So I found a guy here willing to try it and we just went for it. I love it, plus it didn't hurt as much as some other ones I have."
